Job Summary
PLC Support Manager -
PLC Support Manager will support customers using our industrial machinery. This role is hands-on, customer-facing, and serves as the primary technical contact for troubleshooting PLC, mechanical, and equipment performance issues. You'll also provide light leadership for a small team of field service technicians. This is a local, non-traveling role focused on real-time problem solving.
What You'll Do
- Lead
customer support for machinery issues via phone/email
- Troubleshoot
PLC and mechanical problems (Siemens/Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Schedule
and coordinate field technicians for service calls and startups
- Guide
customers through fixes to reduce downtime
- Document
issues and trends for continuous improvement
- Provide
light supervision for a team of three service techs
- Collaborate
with engineering, operations, and sales to resolve issues and share field
insights
What You Bring
- Technical
background in industrial machinery, automation, PLCs, and mechanical
troubleshooting
- Strong
communication skills with non-technical customers
- Experience
in technical support or service coordination
- Basic
leadership experience preferred
- Strong
organization and follow-up skills
