The Judge Group is seeking a Project Engineer for a manufacturing company located in the Hagerstown, MD area.
Title: Project Engineer
Location: Hagerstown, MD
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
Responsibilities:
- Oversee engineering projects with accountability for technical execution and costs
- Coordinate and choose external vendors and contractors
- Drive equipment reliability and plant performance improvements
- Manage capital initiatives including design, budgeting requests, construction, and handoff
- Support long-term capital planning efforts
- Lead smaller plant projects and provide day-to-day engineering support
- Assist maintenance teams with troubleshooting equipment issues
- Train operators on new systems and technologies
- Identify and implement process improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
- At least 1 year of project engineering experience
- 1+ year within a manufacturing environment
- Background in electrical systems or controls is a plus
- Strong project coordination and vendor management abilities
