large, well established contract sanitation service company is looking for an experienced Sanitation Site Mgr. Offering competitive salary and benefits. Meat processing plant experience a big plus.

Positions supervised: 8-11 hourly Associates

POSITION SUMMARY

Site Manager performs exempt work focused on the daily execution of food manufacturing plant sanitation and supervision of the sanitation crew. The primary duty entails the daily cleaning, supervising other sanitation team members, providing site administration, and ensuring that the customer?s facility is effectively sanitized in compliance with governmental and customer specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES

  1. Monitors, measures, and reports on operational issues and opportunities.
  • Report accidents, downtime, damage, and other important plant issues.
  • Submit supply orders to Operations Manager
  • Send timesheets to Operations Manager before 7 a.m. Monday mornings. Make sure all employees are clocking in and out each day.
  • Complete Daily Pre-op Form, Master Sanitation Schedule, and Titration Logs and email to Quality Assurance
  • Send written disciplinary violations to the Corporate office on time.
  • Send chemical inventory to the Corporate office each week.
  1. Manage and develop staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, motivating, evaluating, setting and adjusting hours, handling team members? complaints and grievances, disciplining team members, planning and directing the work of team members.
  2. Ensure compliance with all internal company procedures and policies including safety, human resources and audit paperwork.
  • Comply with procedures outlined in the company handbook, safety handbook, and SSOPs.
  • Assist the Operations Manager to implement training programs including safety.
  • Coordinate responses to any governmental or customer deficiencies.
  • Report and investigate all accidents. Monitor treatment of injured team members.
  1. Serve as a liaison with QSS Customers.
  • Attend sanitation meetings (e.g., production, USDA, audits, etc.) on behalf of QSS with the customers.
  • Communicate with the customer regarding required facility sanitation support (e.g., maintenance needs, water pressure/temperature, customer provided supplies, etc.).
  • Submit corrective actions procedures to customer when necessary to remedy issues.
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure that problems are resolved to their satisfaction.

  1. Acts as liaison with regulatory agencies as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Six (6) months to one year of food sanitation experience.

Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
